Saturday 18th April 2015 - Gargoyle Day at St. Peter's Church

Leicestershire Heritage Wardens held their sixth Gargoyle Annual Training day at St. Peters this year. Villagers were invited to attend a talk on Medieval Carvings in the morning and 25 listened to this very interesting talk given by Bob Trubshaw.   

We helped to promote this in the village by producing a notice for our notice board, advertising it in our local Parish Paper and promoting it at our Village Consulation Day. We also waived the fee for using the church .

Everyone was very pleased with how the day turned out.
