Summer 2014 - World War I Memorial Refurbishment
The World War I Memorial in St. Peter's Churchyard has been refurbished by Harborough Stone Ltd who have straightened, cleaned, re-painted the letters and re-pointed the Memorial. This has been funded by a grant from Leicestershire County Council War Memorials Grant Scheme and The Tilton and District Produce Show. We are most grateful to them.
In the centenary year of 2014 of the WW1 War, it was a fitting tribute to the men who gave their lives for their country.
